Flockey Oscor is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans dance, choreography, filmmaking and spoken word. Rooted in hip-hop culture, his practice brings together movement, music and personal storytelling.
From the autobiographical film Cashmere to his performance 4 Walls, Oscor has explored themes of identity, personal history and freedom through movement and visual expression. A documentary directed by Kira Möller, with executive production by Möller and Bas Meyer, places the artist himself in front of the camera as both subject and narrator.
Photographer Nekame Klasohm accompanied the production, creating a series of photographs from the set. Moving between the artist, the crew and the moments surrounding the actual filming, his images offer an additional perspective on the documentary's making. The result is a photographic record that stands on its own while providing visual material for editorial, press and social communication around the film.
